Professional Photography

I pride myself on being able to deliver only the highest quality material and service. I have a special eye to capture the best of the best. Here’s why:

I have had the rare opportunity to work with leading Canadian and award winning photographers like Jean-Marc Carisse to develop experience in the field and discover the hidden elements of an amazing photo.

I have the known and proven exceptional ability to capture great communication in the subjects that I photograph, an essential component to taking great photos, especially portraits or cultural performance photography. Photos should not just look nice. They should tell a story too!

Every photographer has their own style. The "Zuger" style (as I like to call it) offers a natural  but aesthetically pleasing perspective. I rarely use filters and strive to do most of the work at the camera level instead of in post-processing.

Commercial photographers and large companies often fill their schedules to the max and practice "cut and paste" photography, where you and your photos are treated as file numbers and not human beings with specific needs, wants and stories. I don't overbook, and I work one-on-one with clients before, during and after their sessions and events.

Despite being only 19 years old, I have been taking photos for money since I was 12 years old, and started out with a wooden toy camera at age 5. Since then, many courses, dozens of hours training, and hundreds of clients later, I have developed my talents and focus on Dance/Theatre/Performance Photography, taking photos for many dance groups and cultural dance/folklore organizations.

Beginning in January 2019, I will be offering professional studio photography; incorporating state-of-the-art lighting technologies within a controlled setting that will vastly increase my equipment capabilities for portraiture.

On-location individual, couple and family portrait sessions start at $115 for one hour and includes complimentary high-resolution digital photos.

Capture your events, performances, and choreographies in a style as unique as you and your group or organization. Services available at hourly rates. Why not fundraise by creating a calendar? Need to update your website or promo materials? I can do all this and more.

Live Sound - Audio Tech

For a number of years I have been working as a volunteer sound technician.

I've put together systems for high school auditoriums, private dance studios, gymnasiums, churches,  outdoor music festivals and home theaters.

If you're holding a wedding or small event and need a setup of any size, from one microphone to entire bands, I can help you.  Together we can assess your needs and build a setup. I'll install, operate and tear down myself.

I currently work as a Program Specialist for the Nepean Creative Arts Centre, a large cultural facility in Ottawa home to many dance, theatre, music and visual arts organizations. I manage all of the centre's professional sound needs.
